The face (and camera) behind Botanical Pawtraits.

I’m a pet photographer based in South East Queensland, creating soulful, nature inspired portraits that celebrate the magic of our dogs and the bond we share with them.

The team


While I’m usually the one behind the camera, Botanical Pawtraits is very much a team effort.



My partner Chris often joins sessions as my assistant, helping wrangle dogs, carry gear and capture behind the scenes moments.

Where it started


I’ve always loved dogs, but in 2019 I took that passion further and completed my Certificate III in Animal Studies.


Learning about animal behaviour and welfare deepened my connection with animals and shaped the way I work with dogs today.

2021

In 2021 I travelled to Tasmania with my Canon M50. It was the first time started photographing the world around me.

I spent my days capturing landscapes, light and quiet moments in nature. That trip is where I fell in love with photography.
